Master of Ceremonies
At any event- the Master of Ceremonies or MC plays a critical role in it’s success. The MC will set the tone for your event and let your audience know what to expect. A great MC will bring their own brand of energy and confidence to the day. Their responsibilities include ensuring that the audience feels welcome and a part of the spectacle that is unfolding. The MC ensures the audience are fully informed and players, sponsors and important guests are well looked after.
Gilly was a professional squash player where he achieved a career high ranking of #48 in the world and was a four time US National Championship runner up. He no longer plays professionally but now focuses on his coaching and MC’ing. Gilly was an incredibly well liked player on the tour and so his personality resonates when he interviews players and talks to the audience. His tactical and technical knowledge of the game gives great insight to audiences and the manner in which he presents himself is of ultimate professionalism.
Gilly already has a great following and reputation as the MC for the US Open in Philadelphia. With his trademark bow-tie, he is booked to be back for the 2017 event and is a big favourite with the crowd and online viewers. We couldn’t recommend Gilly highly enough if you are in search of a charismatic and hugely knowledgeable MC for an upcoming sporting event.
